Annual Conference & AGM

We’re a far-flung network engaged in work that can be difficult and isolating. So every year we gather as a community somewhere in Canada, to share stories, songs, prayers, education, conversation, and action ideas. And parties.

Part of the conference includes a brief AGM, so that we can continue to work as registered charity with good governance. Our AGM highlight is storytelling from across the country and around the world.

Everyone is welcome to both the conference and its accompanying AGM. You don’t have to be a member for anything other than AGM voting (though we love it if you become a member. Just saying.)

We’re always hosted by an Affirming ministry, and move around the country. We make the conference as financially accessible as possible; we announce the dates and location for the conference in late winter, and dates are almost always in the summer over a weekend. We’ll post invitations and program updates on this page, so please keep checking back.
